As I’m sure you all noticed, I have significantly altered the layout of my blog.
I also added a Google search box which can be used to search the web directly from this blog.
I would appreciate hearing from you which layout you liked better and why.

for now I like the old one better, but I will get used to it...
I have been playing around with the extra sidebar as well in a separate blog I opened to test new templates. I really want to use a second sidebar but can't seem to get one that I like... I still want the text of th epost to be in more of the area than what it allows. I find the sidebars too large and the body too small.
Not sure whuch I like better.
Lots of ads in this one.
I think it takes away a bit from your blog message.
wow, new look! looks very "professional" but takes away from the "personal" feeling. it depends which way you want to be. looks quite fancy.
it looks great.
i find the old one easier to read, but you deserve the more proffesional looking one.
the old one is more intimite.

Sorry, but I don't like the new look. Has the feel of a commercial website, and not a blog. I would scrap the ads and the google tool bar. We are amongst friends here, keep it homey! (hey, you asked for our honest opinions, didn't you?!)

For the time being I have decided to leave the new layout, but I will try tweaking it a bit like making the fonts bigger, etc.
After we all get used to the new design, I may switch it back for a day to compare.
